FFor us, in the course of ticket sales various costs. For example, we have to bear certain costs for server capacity, the technical system, and payment processing. Therefore we have to charge a system fee of 8.5% of the gross ticket price + €0.35 for each ticket. How did we arrive at this figure? We have prepared a more detailed overview of our system fees here. Take a look.
The €0.50 tree fee will be donated in full to our non-profit partner Regio Baum (Association for the Sustainable Conversion of Regional Forests e.V.) . Regio Baum, in turn, works with numerous regional partners:(forestry (forestryoperatingoperating associations, forest owners, etc.) and ensures that this money is used entirely for meaningful reforestation. Logically, reforestation includes not only not only the planting of trees, but also preparatory activities such as soil preparation and post-planting care.
Since the fee for payment processing is calculated as a percentage but still includes a fixed flat-rate component, we have no choice but tobut but also a hybrid system fee structure other than to choose a hybrid. Otherwise, the levy would would be to the payment service providerhigher higher than the system fee system fee. Logically, this would mean that ticketree would soon cease to exist, as we would have to pay extra for every ticket sold.
This problem also occurs with very cheap tickets. For this reason, we have decided to use a hybrid system fee structure so that the system fees for consumers are reasonable for all price categories and we can still cover our costs. Unlike other competitors, we deliberately do not want to exclude small events with lower ticket prices, which is why we have opted for this hybrid model. We want not only offer fair prices, but also be as affordable and transparent as possible .
We hope you understand why we have to charge this system fee. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact info@ticketree.de . We look forward to hearing from you.
As an online ticket shop, Ticketree is an agent or retailer for tickets. Since we want event organizers receive the amount they have calculated and need to cover the costs of staging the event, Ticketree, like most other online ticket shops, charges system fees. But how are these fees calculated?
We incur costs when operating Ticketree. These include servers, technical support for the ticket system, personnel costs, taxes, and and insurance are just a few examples.
The payment process represents a particularly large cost center for us. For example, we have to pay 2.49% + €0.35 directly to PayPal for each payment transaction. PayPal in order to receive your money. At the same time, however, it is important to us that the payment process is as easy as possible for you digitally, which we can guarantee in this way.
With a ticket price of €10 plus €0.50 for the tree fee, that's already 59 cents. We have to cover this amount in full via the system fee . From the 6%, remaining after deducting payment processing costs remaining, we still have to cover all other costs (see above).
